Be Inspired: New Plymouth Walkway

The award-winning New Plymouth Walkway is an 11km pathway that forms an expansive sea-edge promenade stretching from Port Taranaki to Hickford Park. The walkway is ideal for walking, running, cycling, skating, or simply enjoying the view of the rugged and raw west coast. In 2008 the New Plymouth Walkway was named as one of the world’s best environmentally sustainable projects and it was also given a special award for its community sustainability.
